“Mike James Dog Training Thank you I have tried everything & trainers are too expensive so Muffy has been doing better. When company comes & she starts barking I put her in her cage & praise her when she quits barking & which is only about a half a minute than let her out & she doesn’t bark. It might have taken me a little time but she is getting so much better. I will be following your page. Thank you.”

“My dog barks at me when I’m in the kitchen doing things like making a cup of tea. I ask her to leave the kitchen and stand on the other side of a dog gate where she can still see me. She gets a reward when the barking stops. She’s beginning to respond to the training. I’ve tried just about everything else except punishment. I don’t intend to try that. It has no place in dog training.”

“Thank you so much for the info!

Just wanted to let you know that Felix had that squeaky toy sitting right at my chair this morning. LOL

He is really special and learns quickly, and your system is working very well for us.

He does have anxiety problems and barks if I leave him and today I had two meetings to attend and I could hear him when I got in the elevator so I went back and took him with me.

He sat for 3 hrs with me without a bark, and then did the same thing this evening at our local Legion Hall where I was getting signatures to save our healthcare system. Not one bark.

He stays in the same room I sit in at all times, and follows me when I move.”

“It has now been one month of positive training. I am doing great with all your advice, no negative yelling ( I am no longer yelling no or stop it) I only tell them QUIET and they are being quiet 9 out of 10 times. My family and friends have noticed the difference too. By the way, I have 5 dogs that were barking uncontrollably, this positive training is working well, and my dogs are quiet when they are told to be quiet. I am amazed at the difference positive reinforcement has made. Thank you so much, wish I had done this sooner. Will keep you updated. You can use this update in your advertisement. Very satisfied multi-pet owner.”

“I finally got the time to start reading the material. Just starting to put them into practice and the results are nothing short of a miracle. Lady is 14 years old; we adopted her at 9 so many of her habits were deeply ingrained. Just acknowledging her protective nature was positive. Waiting to give her a treat until she settled down kept her quiet for hours. She is also dealing with the family grief after my husband’s death.”
